The famous American rapper from College Park, Georgia - Jasiel Robinson, who was born on September 20, 1980, is also known by his nickname Yung Joc. The talanted rapper was discovered by Russell "Block" Spencer after gaining fame in Atlanta with "It's Going Down" and "I Know You See It". In 2006, he released his first album by the name New Joc City and the first single, "It's Goin' Down" hit at #3 on the billboard top 100 and #1 on the Hip Hop chart, it was produced by Nitti. His next single, entitled "I Know You See It" reached the #17 position on the top 100 chart and the third one, named "1st Time" was less successful. This track features Marques Houston and the video version added Trey Songz. Guest appearance on the album included Boyz n da Hood, Marques Houston, and many others famous artists. It is certified platinum, selling about a million copies in the US, the rising star was featured on other artists' singles including Danity Kane's "Show Stopper", Lil Boosie's "Zoom", and T-Pain's "Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin')". A year later Joc released his second album, titled Hustlenomics, on August 28, 2007. Guest appearances featured The Game, Jim Jones, Bun B, Young Dro, Trick Daddy, Diddy, Jazze Pha, and the newly recruited member of Boyz n da Hood, (replacing Young Jeezy) Gorilla Zoe. The first single from it by the name "Coffee Shop" featuring Gorilla Zoe was a modest success like his next single from Hustlenomics "Bottle Poppin'", also features Gorilla Zoe.
