Famous American singer Fergie was born in Hacienda Heights, California, the daughter of Terri Jackson and Patrick Ferguson, she has one sister, Dana, who is an actress. Their parents are of Irish, Scottish, and Mexican descent. After two successful Black Eyed Peas albums, Fergie began pursuing a solo career. Her first album, released on September 19, 2006, was named The Dutchess, which became highly popular. The album's name is a misspelled variant of the former title of Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, with whom the young talanted singer shares a surname and popular nickname.
